Baby chick report

As you can see the "baby" chicks are growing up! In just two and a half months they have turned into scruffy teenagers. Half baby feathers....half grown up feathers. I've made a small pen for them so they can be outside but I don't want them running around the yard yet. They're still small enough to look like hawk bait to me....there's no cover for them this time of year. The other chickens visit them several times a day....though I saw the rooster charge one in the pen who I think is also growing up to be a rooster. Hmmmm.....
