Lichen

In a climate as dry as this one, it's always amazing to me to find moss and lichen on rocks and on the ground. Truly an amazing plant, lichen is one of the oldest plants on earth. It's adaptability is clearly above average. Perhaps we could learn a thing or two from the wisdom of lichen. If only they could talk!
