Raspberry leaves, peppermint, dill , and chamomile are ready to go into the old pie safe where they will spend the winter supplying us with tea and cooking herbs. Tarragon, thyme, sage, and others will soon join them. I find drying herbs to be simple and easy.....and so delicious in the winter. A fresher and more sparkling taste than anything I can buy. I know it's time to bring the last of them indoors before a killing frost arrives.
