There is something so beautiful about a fall rose. Suddenly, just as the garden season is drawing to a close, the roses burst forth with one last extravagant bloom. I don't know whether it's because I know all my flowers will soon be asleep for the winter.....or because the golden, slanting, autumn light is so beautiful.....but fall roses always seem to have incredibly vibrant color.
