The other day I walked around the corner to put something in the shed and stopped in my tracks. There was the Daphne.....almost ready to burst into full bloom. This is always such an exciting moment. The first flower in a long season of bloom! There's no turning back now and one of these days it will be warm enough to sit on the porch in the evening and listen to the crickets sing. I am so happy to see the turn of the season.Daphne

I love this!
My gosh.....it worked this time.
The sprig Jeanne brought in for me didn't seem to have any fragrance. Maybe it just has to warm up more.
