Asters

Nothing is more beautiful in the fall landscape than low mounds of purple asters scattered among the fading flowers and leaves. As the weather turns, and summer's glory sinks slowly back into the earth.....the asters smile gaily and behave as though it's spring. Sometimes these lovely flowers persevere through sleet, snow, and freezing temperatures to grace our Thanksgiving table.
