The pumpkins look ready to harvest and it's not even October! Time is moving so swiftly and fall is early this year. The light is beautiful, the air is fresh, and days are warm and lovely. Sometimes I feel a kind of laziness on a beautiful fall day that I feel on an early, warm spring day. A feeling I think of as "spring fever". I guess I must have "fall fever". But with so many things begging to be harvested and put into the pantry....there's not much time to tarry!Pumpkins

I totally feel the same way. FINALLY got with it yesterday, and want to be out there today...alas, duty calls. Beautiful picture too, with the lovely purple. Hoping the smoke isn't getting to you. Star
