Chicken scratch. How did someone figure out that a chicken likes cracked corn more than anything else on the planet? I suppose it wasn't that difficult. My chickens never sound happier than when scratch is tossed on the ground for them. Their happiness is infectious. A guaranteed cure for the blues.
