Whenever I want to know how much snow has fallen....I look out the back door and check the height on the table! It's the most accurate measure of anywhere near the house. When I looked this morning I saw 8 to 10 inches of beautiful powder soft snow. Shovelling paths to the chicken coops and sheds is like tossing the lightest down feathers out of the way.
