More Poppies

This poppy opened just before a huge storm came through the night before last. Amazingly the blossoms survived, though the plant is now in quite a horizontal position, flattened by a fierce wind. My garden fared much better than my mother's, however. She had an ornamental tree partially uprooted which is so disappointing. Hopefully it will survive, and thrive, once it is returned to its proper upright position.
