A Popular Spot

This morning I looked through the screen door and saw Saphira catching a drink from the birdbath. Somewhere in the last while I posted a photo of Ram stretching up for a drink as well. Very funny. Cat politics around here have simmered down a bit. I think Saphira knew I was serious when I began muttering about looking for a one cat home for her. Suddenly she began to put on her best behaviour. While I'm not completely convinced she has accepted the two new cats (a certain amount of rude hissing continues), she seems more in alignment with her fate. Come winter, she'll be glad to have a couple of companions. Already they've teamed up against a few feral wanderers. I'm still hoping for the best......
