Late evening sunlight sifting through the iris outside the west garden is so beautiful. It feels good to sit back and rest after a busy day in the garden. We continue to apply various strategies for dealing with our varmit attacks. Some more effective than others. We still have more loss than I would like to see. But I have hopes for a late season garden....as well as our usual winter hoop house planting. Meanwhile we are grateful to for beautiful asparagus coming in and thinnings from Mother's garden and Jeanne's garden.
