Inspiration

I bought a mix of miniature, early blooming flower bulbs two years ago. Last spring when they came up I was disappointed because the colors were quite different from the picture. But this year when they arrived I was prepared for the combination and have been enjoying their bright faces. The real surprise has been how much everyone who walks by this bed is so happy to see these cheerful, tiny flowers. On Easter they looked like lots of multi-colored eggs. Such bright color in a landscape that is otherwise just beginning to wake up, is truly a delight.
