The baby chicks are growing up! So far everyone in the coop has survived four weeks of severe winter weather. Enough snow and ice has melted so the rooster and hens are finally able to get out of the coop and forage. Cabin fever had definately set in and the chicks had begun to suffer from being at the bottom of the pecking order. The rooster and hens were eating their food and picking on them, so they've been moved to their own quarters in the other half of the coop. Everyone is much happier!
