Fire and Ice

Life is filled with fire and ice these days. Fire on so many levels within and without. Including a fire in the chicken coop. Mama and chicks escaped safely but a rooster and a hen succumbed to smoke. Ice arriving in below zero temperatures and snow on the ground. Bundling up to travel out to the coop to keep the chicks warm and the water free of ice.
